Filming Street Scene

We began filming of the street scenes recently and we were very successful. We got almost all of the shots we needed. We did however realise the problems with working in a public area as there were people walking past and cars driving along which sometimes affected our shots meaning we had to redo them multiple times.

When filming we used items at the location, Woodstock town center, as props. For example, we often used lampposts and the corners of buildings for the point of view shots looking at the girl walking away. This gave the effect of the stalker watching her whilst hiding and was very effective.

We will have to go back to location to do more shots of the area as we need to have the girl spotting the stalker and beginning to run away before the shots in the woods which we plan to do next week. This is because we underestimated how long it would take due to having to redo many shots due to civilians looking at or walking in front of the camera.
