Final Ancillary Text Ideas

For my poster I have decided to have an image of a hooded figure in front of a black background where you can't see their face with the basic information such as the title and release date underneath. This will give a good effect because it will not only be a creepy picture but will also not give way too much of the plot. I plan to take my own photo of the hooded figure with the correct lighting then add titles. However, if the lighting is too difficult to achieve I will have to use Photoshop to edit the image and create the illusion of the shadows I want so that you can't see the persons face. I think this will be perfect for our piece because it will create the right atmosphere.

I also plan to do a radio trailer by having a voice over with clips of dialogue from the piece. This means I will be able to give all the information needed to the audience but will also make them interested by having segments of the film in. I want the dialogue used to be parts which will have a sense of mystery but also give a sense of what the film will be like. I am going to get someone to read out the information such as the title, release date and cast of the film and I will then take the clips of dialogue from the sound we recorded during filming. I think this will be great for our short film because it will make the audience want to come see our piece.
